Katy Perry to perform at Gridlock New Year's Eve

It's going to be "Hot N Cold" in Hollywood as Grammy nominated performer Katy Perry performs live at Gridlock New Year's Eve at Paramount Studios on Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Presented by Night Vision Entertainment, Hardball Productions and BToll Entertainment, Gridlock promises to be Hollywood's version of Times Square with the most elaborate star-studded red carpet and New Year's Eve celebration ever taking place from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Tickets are currently on sale at www.gridlockla.com.

Nominated for a Best Female Pop Vocal Performance Grammy, Katy Perry will perform a mini-concert, including her #1 hits 'I Kissed a Girl' and 'Hot N Cold' from her debut album 'One of The Boys', followed by an incredible midnight countdown. In New York Times Square they drop the ball, but in Hollywood a Star will be raised to bring in 2009. Over 5,000 people, including celebrity guests, will experience Paramount Studios' New York City backlot transformed into four different New York City environments with a Hollywood twist.

Times Square Stage (Main Stage)
Ring in the New Year with a midnight countdown, featuring the Hollywood Star Rising (L.A.’s version of the “Ball Drop”), and a live performance by 2008’s top recording artist Katy Perry.

Central Park VIP Stage (Sound Stage 16)
Enter one of Paramount Studios’ largest sound stages as we transform it into a Central Park themed VIP area with open bar and free food that will glow in green décor featuring beautiful vegetation capped off by an amazing video mixing DJ experience on over 6 giant projectors and plasma displays! LMFAO will perform live along with DJ Mister E (Video Mixing).

Rockefeller Center (Top 40 and Mashup DJs)
This skyscraper lined area will boast timely lighting and Special EFX Snowfalls (Yes it will SNOW in LA)- a Winter Wonderland season experience featuring mashups by DJ Coolwhip and DJ Audiomoe.

Gotham (Electro Area)
This back alley environment will host an array of underground entertainment and talented Electro DJ’s to include Guns N Bombs, Pase Rock, Classixx, Chris White and Colossal Knxx.

Ticket Information
Advance tickets and VIP table packages are currently available online for a limited time starting at $100 for general admission and $200 for VIP admission with open bar.
