Charles David of California and Dress for Success Worldwide will launch their collaborative shoe donation program at 25 nationwide Charles David boutiques. This program will directly benefit Dress For Success Worldwide – a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged woman by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help woman thrive in work and in life.
From May 7th – 10th, Charles David boutiques will invite consumers to participate in an in-boutique shopping event encouraging participants to donate gently worn professional footwear. In exchange for their generosity Charles David will extend a 25% discount (one per customer) on all purchases during the event. To compliment the donation Charles David will contribute a matching donation of 1,275 pairs of new footwear to Dress for Success that will be distributed through 16 charity affiliates.

In conjunction with the in-boutique campaign, Charles David will partner with website Running With Heels to create a media segment promoting the in-store partnership. The video will be shot on location at Charles David’s Short Hills Boutique with Running with Heels Editor and Chief Morgan Williams, fashion stylist and columnist Alison Stewart, and a representative from Dress for Success Morris County. The video will be posted on Running With Heels in time to promote the partnership.
