Mas Exitos at the Getty Saturday

Saturdays Off the 405 free music series continues with MAS EXITOS on Saturday, July 11th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Getty Center.

Mas Exitos, the legendary twice-a-month event held at the Verdugo Bar in Highland Park, comes to the Getty! The DJ collective—featuring Lengua, Hoseh, Ganas, and Enorbito—unfold their international music selections and transform the Museum Courtyard into a hot spot south of the border. It's an audio carpet ride from the Andes of Peru to the streets of Mexico City to the East Side of L.A.—cumbias, low-rider music, Afro beat, tropicalia, funky jazz oddities, y más. DJ Lengua will handle the laptop while the rest of the crew take over the turntables.Also performing: Domingo SieteThis pan-Latin-and-Caribbean quartet, which plays at home in L.A. when not touring Europe, scored the Oscar-nominated documentary The Garden.
