Chris Thomas King to release new album

Multi - Grammy Awardwinning recording artist, actor and guitar hero, CHRIS THOMAS KING today announced a spring headline tour. Described as the ultimate Chris Thomas King acoustic and electric musical experience, it also marks the first time the Chris Thomas King Band officially tours in North America in 2010 since King’s 2009 world tour, which visited Africa, Japan, Mexico and North America.

The North American leg of "Rock In A Hard Place Tour 2010," booked by agent Mariann Thomas of New Orleans based CTK Tours, LLC, will kick off on the popular STEVE HARVEY MORNING SHOW live on Friday March 12 from Shreveport, LA. King will also be seen as an actor on the hit TV Show “IMAGINATION MOVERS” on March 26th. The Louisiana blues artist and actor with an impressive repertoire of songs, scores and scenes in award-winning films will join Playhouse Disney’s “Imagination Movers” on the Disney channel.

The new album “CAUGHT IN BETWEEN,” is Chris Thomas King’s first full-length studio album since the release of the Handy nominated “Rise,” in 2006. The tour will feature new songs as well as fan favorites including songs from the movies “Ray” and “O Brother.”

To date, Chris Thomas King has sold over 10 million combined units worldwide, and logged more than a 1000 headline tour dates and festivals in 32 countries. King starred in and scored Oscar winning movies including “Ray” and “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” which have grossed over $250 million dollars at the box office.
