Consequence's new mixtape out today

Hip-Hop artist Consequence releases his new mixtape, Movies On Demand, today via his official website www.itsthecons.com.

Presented by Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, top hip-hop blog NahRight.com and Universal Motown Records, the free download offers 13 bangin’ new tracks showcasing Consequence’s lyrical prowess.

Movies On Demand co-stars some of the most respected artists in the game including Common, Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, Rick Ross and more. Asher Roth jumps on the single “Childish Games”, and the video shot by Rik Cordero will premiere in the coming weeks.

"Reflecting what we would receive from the collective of a 'Sound Bombing', Movies On Demand is sure to appease fans hungry for real Hip-Hop," states Consequence.

This is just a taste of what’s to come as Consequence is currently in the studio working on his highly anticipated album Cons TV. Executive produced by Q-Tip and Kanye West, it is set for release in 2010 via G.O.O.D. Music/Universal Motown.

Since the age of 16, Consequence has worked alongside several rap icons, including his cousin Q-Tip, garnering respect across the board. He made his rap debut with multiple appearances on A Tribe Called Quest’s platinum, Grammy nominated album Beats, Rhymes & Life. In 2004, Consequence released the mixtape Take ‘Em To The Cleaners with the support of soon-to-be superstar Kanye West. West went on to feature Consequence on his albums The College Dropout & Late Registration and sign him to his own label G.O.O.D. Music in 2005. Consequence also went on to co-write multiple tracks on 808s & Heartbreak. His official solo debut, 2007’s Don’t Quit Your Day Job, was released in partnership with Columbia Records and shot to number one on Billboard’s Heatseekers Album chart.
