"Star Trek Reference to the Novels" series released

For serious or even casual fans, the Star Trek Reader’s Reference to the Novels series by Alva Underwood is the ultimate reference. This series of six books focus on the Star Trek novels that detail the adventures of Captain Kirk, Spock, and Dr. McCoy. Each book is easy to read and use, and offers a galaxy of information about Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry’s world, that he would have never imagined.

“This is obviously a collection for the serious fans of Star Trek novels, and it is not hard to gather, I am definitely a fan,” said Underwood.

Underwood’s journey in creating the six book reference series evolved from her rabid interest in reading, and her professional experience as a teacher at a community college, where she taught others how to research.

“As I grew my knowledge of how research was conducted, I began considering how to combine this knowledge with my love for science fiction,” says Underwood.

As a fan of the "Star Trek" television show since seeing her first episode, Underwood’s Star Trek Reader’s Reference to the Novels provides fans with an unprecedented collection of far-flung information from a variety of sources, while providing complete documentation of sources and bibliography.
