Underwood’s journey in creating the six book reference series evolved from her rabid interest in reading, and her professional experience as a teacher at a community college, where she taught others how to research.

“As I grew my knowledge of how research was conducted, I began considering how to combine this knowledge with my love for science fiction,” says Underwood.
