T.J. Martell Foundation Family Day in Studio City May 2

The T.J. Martell Foundation will host the 2nd Annual T.J. Martell Foundation Family Day fundraising event at the famous CBS Studios Backlot in Studio City on Sunday, May 2nd from Noon to 4 p.m. Legendary film and television star Dick Van Dyke will present the awards to honorees and sign DVDs;, musical guests Rhythm Child and School Gyrls will perform; and other guests including SpongeBob Squarepants will entertain. This year’s Family Day honorees are Rob Prinz of United Talent Agency, and renowned pediatrician and author, Dr. Bill Sears.

The fun filled day includes a wide variety of inflatable rides, carnival games, rock wall climbing, video games, face painting, balloon artists, bbq and more. TJ Martell Family Day offers guests an opportunity to win prizes and bid on unique auction items. These include an LAPD Helicopter ride over Los Angeles; a ride on the Good Year Blimp; a guest deejay spot on Radio Disney; Opening night at Celine Dion in Vegas; Four tickets to the Dancing with the Stars finale and tickets to the cast wrap party; travel packages to Walt Disney World and much, much more!

Family Day brings families together for a spectacular day full of fun, food and activities to raise money for leukemia and cancer research with a who’s who of music and entertainment executives in attendance. Family Day has steadily grown into one of the Martell Foundation’s most successful events. The Foundations grants have produced some amazing results, especially in the area of pediatric cancer where the survival rate has increased from 15% to over 80% over the past fifteen years.

The TJ Martell Foundation is the largest single donor to our local Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Over $27 million has been awarded to the hospital to continue their ground breaking work in the fight against pediatric cancer.
