Paul Thorn to tour in support of new album

Southern storyteller Paul Thorn plays shows nearly 200 nights a year. This summer, he'll bring 'Pimps & Preachers' with him – not live ones, but the influences (from his father the preacher and his uncle the pimp) brought to life in the songs on his album of that title, out June 22nd on Perpetual Obscurity Records.

Thorn will play two CD release shows in Nashville, one solo and one with The Paul Thorn Band, before heading south, then west and finally back to his native Southeast, giving audiences all over the U.S. the chance to see what the San Francisco Chronicle called “Springsteen from Mississippi, Bob Seger singing with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kris Kristofferson backed by the Stones.”
