Toni Braxton and Sting to be featured in A&E's "Private Sessions"

Join A&E this June for all new “Private Sessions” premiere episodes featuring interviews and performances with host Lynn Hoffman and Toni Braxton on June 13 at 9AM ET/PT, and a special on-location episode featuring Sting at The Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on June 27 at 9AM ET/PT.

Six-time Grammy award-winner singer and songwriter Toni Braxton joins “Private Sessions” for an in-depth interview and performance Sunday, June 13 at 9AM ET/PT where she’ll discuss growing up in an extremely conservative family in Severen, Maryland, her struggles with microvascular angina, and the challenges of raising her seven-year-old autistic son. Braxton will also answer surprise questions from Mo’Nique as well as give the inside scoop about her new album Pulse. She will also give an exclusive performance of some of her hit songs including, “Un-Break My Heart,” “Breathe Again,” “Another Sad Love Song,” and new release; “Hands Tied.”

Eleven-time Grammy award-winner singer, songwriter and activist Sting joins “Private Sessions” for a special on-location interview and performance on Sunday, June 27 at 9AM ET/PT. Accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra during his stop at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on his critically acclaimed Symphonicity Tour, Sting will perform hits from both his days as front man of The Police, as well as the well-known singles from his solo career. He will sit down with host Lynn Hoffman to discuss his upcoming album Symphonicities as well as the evolution of his diverse career.

Filmed in a small, intimate studio in New York City, “Private Sessions” showcases exclusive performances and conversations with top names in entertainment with a focus on contemporary music ranging from rock ‘n’ roll to pop to country. Each Sunday morning “Private Sessions” explores the body of work of a single artists or group and feature current releases as well as career-building, influential or defining projects.
