In these trying times filled with hardship and misfortune, messages of motivation, inspiration, hope and heart are needed more than ever before. Los Angeles-based recording artist Darci Monet, along with Intuitive Entertainment and Dooper Girl Productions, is looking to communicate such messages through a new music video featuring photos from everyday people overcoming everyday struggles.
“Go On,” the moving single from Monet’s recently released debut album Fusion, is co-written by Monet and 2010 Tony Award-winner Levi Kreis (Million Dollar Quartet) and features Kreis and Billboard-charting dance/rock diva Debby Holiday on vocals. A song of encouragement and perseverance in stressful times and situations, the video tells the stories of four people who have faced adversity and triumphed. To further enhance the message of inspiration, the project will include photos submitted by real people from all over the world who have overcome their own adversities.
“We are looking for photographs that succinctly convey someone’s personal story of survival,” says director Christopher Gregson of Intuitive Entertainment. “To illustrate an obstacle they have overcome or challenge they have met. The subject matter is not as important as the message of hope we want to share.”
