Saturday April 16:The Topanga Acoustic Music Series This is Marilyn Babcock's Series, one of them anyway. And a great place to dig some music, eat too much, make many friends, and even hang out afterward for a song-circle if you are so inclined. We have a great line-up featuring Vicki Peterson from The Bangles, in her acoustic incarnation. We presented her in Thousand Oaks recently, and she was great. And super-cool ... really nice down-to-earth person. Also we have a young group, Shelby, Tieg and Tara, who I caught at a small cafe recently, and are so good. Beautiful harmonies, hot guitar work, and indelible songs. Topanga Favorites, The Porch Girls are also with us for a straight shot of canyon energy and home-cooked music. And I will be there too, with my band, in a slightly modified line-up. The Legendary Chad Watson is holding down the bass duties, Genevieve is singin', and the great Ed Tree is filling in for Greg Krueger who has to fly to Japan and get that whole thing straightened out.
