Funeral Party in LA June 21

Funeral Party hits the road this June with indie rockers Panic! At The Disco. The Los Angeles alternative rock band will also join Deftones and The Dillinger Escape Plan for a cross-coutry tour, kicking off in Seattle on April 14.

Funeral Party made their national television debut on the Late Show with David Letterman on March 31 and Jimmy Kimmel Live! on April 6. Fans across the country were able witness what the Los Angeles Times calls “a ravenously physical, technically precise and impossibly fun live act” with intimate showcases at this year’s SXSW music festival as well as New York City’s Mercury Lounge on March 30 and at the Los Angeles’ Echo on April 8.

Produced by Lars Stalfors (Matt & Kim, The Mars Volta) and mixed by Dave Sardy (Band of Horses, LCD Soundsystem, Oasis), Funeral Party’s debut album has received rave reviews from the UK. The legendary Q Magazine gave The Golden Age Of Knowhere four stars calling it “thrilling”; while Mojo says: “each track spills out with fist-in-the-air energy.” The first single off the album “Finale” recently won MtvU’s Freshman and is also a part of this month’s Fuse/MySpace Introducing series.
