Seeing this makes me wish two things: 1) that I had been in CA to participate... maybe I'll see about it in the future; and 2) that we in the Chicago area had a comparable "sacred" and beautiful place to orient a peace pilgrimage around. Oh well, I suppose it's God that makes a place or event sacred, not us.
Peace is the point, whether it's a shot-up ghetto or a beautiful mountain. Thanks for the heads-up, Mickie.
I live for adventure! I've been in rock bands, movies, plays and on TV. I adore animals, motorcycles get my heart racing and I also have a passion for sushi and ice cream (not at the same time). I was the Queen of the 31st Occasional Pasadena Doo Dah Parade. I am also a professional belly dancer (swords are my speciality) and a full-time journalist. Here, I'll share some of my life- who I meet and where I go in the music scene, as well as music news, and any other intriguing people, places and things I come across. Welcome and keep on rockin'!

Events like this remind me of a bumper sticker I saw some years ago: "God bless everyone. No exceptions."
