The Glendale Pops Orchestra, under the artistic direction of conductor Matt Catingub, is seeking young people between the ages of 10 and 17 to participate as The Glendale Pops Youth Chorus in the December 9th HolidayPOP! concert at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale. David Benoit is the special guest artist in that very special holiday concert.

Auditions will be held on Thursday, October 13 at The Carlson Fellowship Center at Glendale’s 1st United Methodist Church (130 North Kenwood).

Those who would like to audition must be prepared to perform one of the following holiday classics – Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, or Silent Night. Rehearsal dates and times will be available at the auditions. The rehearsal schedule and further details are in the attached document.

Season tickets or tickets to upcoming performances, featuring Kenny Loggins and Dave Koz in 2012 concerts, are available at the Alex Theatre box office, The Americana at Brand ticket outlet or by visiting the Glendale Pops Orchestra website. The Glendale Pops Orchestra and the Glendale Pops Youth Chorus are programs of Glendale Arts, a non-profit arts organization.
