Canada with a brand new show kicking off Thursday, March 7 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida (complete itinerary below). The upcoming concerts are part of Rieu's "And The Waltz Goes On Tour," named after his recent successful international album that featured a collaboration with Sir Anthony Hopkins. The tour will launch in advance of ICON, an all-new greatest hits package from Rieu that is being released on March 19, 2013 through Universal Music Enterprises (UMe). ICON features such classics as The Beautiful Blue Danube, What A Wonderful World, Strauss & Co., Radetzky March, Edelweiss, When The Saints Go Marching In, Send In The Clowns, and Amazing Grace.
Fans got a sneak peak of Rieu's "And The Waltz Goes On Tour" today—Tuesday, March 5—when the violinist and his entire Orchestra performed live on FOX & Friends on the FOX News Channel.

The maestro and his orchestra will perform beautiful waltzes on this tour, but the concerts are much more than that. From famous Viennese operettas to film scores, spirituals to musicals, and folk songs to marches—Rieu's concerts are a perfect mix of thrilling, romantic and emotional melodies combined with stunning soloists, festive balloons, Rieu's great sense of humor, and of course, plenty of surprises.
2012 was a banner year for Rieu.
