Bodhran workshop in Claremont March 14

Bodhran Workshop w/ Roy Durnal & Jim Cope Thurs, March 14th 6:30-8pm $20

The bodhran is the heartbeat of Irish music. This ancient frame drum is made with a wooden body and a goat-skin head and played with a double sided stick called a tipper. The proper pronunciation is “bow-rawn.” Bring your own bodhran or borrow one of ours. Now musical experience necessary.
