Black Sabbath contest launched by Taylor Guitars
In celebration of Black Sabbath's nineteenth studio album, 13, Taylor Guitars is giving one lucky fan the opportunity to celebrate with an ultimate sweepstakes. One winner and a guest will fly from the domestic United States to see lead guitarist and Taylor player Tony Iommi and Black Sabbath perform in Las Vegas on September 1, 2013. Guests will enjoy accommodations at the MGM Grand, a Taylor GS Mini guitar signed by Iommi, a signed copy of 13, and a Taylor Guitars prize pack.
Iommi's relationship with Taylor Guitars spans several years and several more guitars. During the recording of 13, Iommi had an assortment of Taylors in the studio, including an 816ce and 914ce. Iommi also has a T5, T3 and GS Mini in his Taylor arsenal.

Arjen Lucassen has been hard at work for the past few months on the forthcoming new AYREONalbum The Theory of Everything. Ayreon albums are known for their array of guests, and now Arjen is launching a special online contest so that fans can guess the musicians that will be featured on the album.
Fans can hear a snippet of music at the link below, and then guess who the musician is to be in with a chance of winning a prize. The answer will be revealed in the coming days and new contests will appear weekly.

Avenged Sevenfold ticket giveaway for Hollywood show Aug. 26
AVENGED SEVENFOLD today announced details on how fans can obtain free tickets to their special show at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, CA on Monday, August 26, 2013. The show is a thank you to the fans and will give the band the chance to celebrate the release of their new album, Hail To The King, with those that have been with them since the very beginning. Warner Bros. Records will release the album on on August 27th.
Fans will be able to obtain tickets for this free show from a few places around Los Angeles and Orange Counties. There is a one ticket per person limit and tickets are non-transferable.
1. Beginning Monday, August 19, fans can tune into KROQ and listen for their chance to win.
2. On August 22nd fans can obtain tickets from two locations in Orange County. Lineups start at 3pm, with tickets being given away at 4pm. A very limited quantity of tickets will be available on a first come first serve basis.

Hail To The King is the follow up to Avenged Sevenfold’s 5th studio album, Nightmare, which earned the band its highest ever debut on the Billboard album chart when it took the Number One spot and spawned three Number One, hit-singles “Nightmare”, “So Far Away” and “Welcome To The Family”.
