Pasadena Foster Care Children Need Back-to-School Supplies
WHO: The economic situation in this country has left businesses, organizations and families struggling to stay afloat. With the new school year here, Hillsides, a Pasadena children’s charity, are in need of back-to-school supplies for the foster care children being served and cared for.
WHAT: The following are supplies needed for the foster care children and the homes on the charity’s campus:

• Loose leaf wide ruled filler paper
• Mechanical pencils

• Quick reference dictionary
• Quick reference thesaurus
• Thick markers
• Erasers
• Pencil sharpeners

• 3 ring Binders
• 3 ring binder dividers
• Reward stickers
• Basic calculators
• Pencil cases/pencil box
• Book Covers
• Novelty Pens
• Combination Lock
• Construction paper
• Tape recorders with headphones
• Any other school supplies that looks inviting to children and teens
WHEN & WHERE: Items can be delivered to: Hillsides 940 Avenue 64, Pasadena, CA 91105
WHY: “As you shop for your own children or go to the store to pick up a thing or two, we hope you'll think about our foster care children this school year and help us give them a fresh start,” said Laura Kelso, Hillsides director of community resources.
