Baysides Anthony Raneri tours solo

Bayside has always a band who appreciates their fans and their support. So over the next few weeks, Anthony Raneri, vocalist for Victory Records group, is preparing to give back to his fans by embarking alone on a handful of solo dates, before he rejoins his band for their Winter 2008 dates. With dates starting Dec. 19th in San Francisco and trekking across the US, these shows will be rare, one-time glimpses of Bayside's music, presented in a completely stripped down form... just Anthony and his guitar.
"I want to give back to where I came from and give an intimate show for my core fans," Raneri said of the dates.
With their mainstream music consciousness at an all-time high for their acclaimed new album, The Walking Wounded, Bayside have been building their profile and their popularity by leaps and bounds through exposure in a variety of high-profile media. Chief among them was their performance on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, of their lead track “Duality.” The song was hailed by Rolling Stone as “the year’s first great emo single: a destructive romance, chugging guitars, swelling strings and an irresistible arena-ready chorus.”
Among the stops will be a very special performance at "A Night of Songs, Conversation and Hope," presented by the non-profit organization To Write Love on Her Arms in Orlando, FL on December 29th. Anthony will join members of Hawthorne Heights , Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Underoath in conversation and performances.
Almost immediately upon Anthony's return to the East Coast, the band will film a video for "Carry On," their second video from Walking Wounded before embarking on a headlining tour national tour with Straylight Run, Four Year Strong, and select dates with Tokyo Rose and The Status.

The Walking Wounded was released on Victory Records earlier this year and has SoundScanned close to 60,000 in the US alone. Previous albums included Sirens and Condolences (2004) which sold over 50,000 and Bayside (2005) which sold 60,000.
