Ben Harper, Taj Mahal and Jackson Browne slated for Claremont Folk Festival

BEN HARPER ADDED AS CO-HEADLINER ALONG WITH TAJ MAHAL AND JACKSON BROWNE AT 2008 CLAREMONT FOLK FESTIVAL

WHAT: The 2008 Claremont Folk Music Festival

WHEN: Saturday, May 3, 2008

WHERE: Sycamore Elementary School, 225 W. 8th Street, Claremont, CA

WHY: The festival will benefit The Dorothy and Charles Chase Folk Music and Culture Education Fund FMCEF, which is a nonprofit education and arts organization dedicated to the advancement, promotion and preservation of traditional, contemporary, and international folk music, instruments and folk culture. FMCEP presents concerts, dances, workshops, demonstrations, and educational programs for persons of all ages in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties.

TICKETS: $50 General admission tickets are available now at www.claremontfolkfestival.org Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. New daytime only passes are available for purchase at the Folk Music Center for $25. These daytime passes are valid between 9am and 5pm on the day of the festival and do not include entrance to the evening headlining performances.
