Holy cow are we busy and lucky to be involved with so many amazing events, shows festivals and talented artists... This is indeed why we have built this community!

We’ve been shouting from mountain tops about SHURMAN for years... Their new album “Waiting For The Sunset” has been getting a lot of attention and features the legendary AL Perkins on the brilliant unofficial SIN CITY theme song “Country Ain’t Country”! It’s FINALLY available to the public and it’s time to celebrate with Aaron, Kiko and the new band!

Please join them at their CD Release party/show at The Key Club ... Maybe the album should be called “Waiting for the Sunset Blvd.” (wink) Shurman goes on around 10:30 pm

The band is fresh off a 6 week European tour and trek thru Texas, Arizona and Oklahoma. Let’s give em a big ol welcome home party shall we? Get your drinkin’ boots on and be sure to buy the boys a drink from Mama Shixo

She will be playing songs from her legendary career including her new album “Stronger” on Yep Roc Records.
Carlene will be joined on stage by some other friends including the incomparable JOHN MCFEE (who played lead guitar on Elvis Costello’s first album My Aim Is True (most notably on “Allison”)) as well as playing pedal steel on Van Morrison’s Tupelo Honey but he’s probably best known for his work with The Doobie Brothers and Southern Pacific!
This is a one time opportunity to see Carlene in such an intimate setting...she did sell over a million records after all!
As an added bonus, we’ve added TOM FREUND to open the show and TRAVIS HOWARD will close the night with his rockin’ band!

Mike Ness is hittin’ the road for the first time in years and our favorite outlaw JESSE DAYTON will be opening shows across the country throughout the month of May!
If that weren’t enough, our own CHRIS LAWRENCE from THE SIN CITY ALL STARS will be manning the pedal steel in Mike’s band! Can we get a HELL YEAH?!

Friends in Need
Our friend Chris Gaffney of the Hacienda Brothers has been diagnosed with liver cancer. Our friend Duane Jarvis has recently undergone surgery for colon cancer. They both need our help. Billy Block and I (along with some other friends) are trying to plan some benefit concerts for Gaffney and DJ in LA, Austin and Nashville.
