Play golf with Michael Bolton, Dave Mason and more for charity

MICHAEL BOLTON AND FRIENDS, INCLUDING THE LEGENDARY ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAMER, SINGER/SONGWRITER, DAVE MASON - (“TRAFFIC"); GRAMMY AWARD WINNING SINGER/SONGWRITER/PRODUCER, BEN E. KING; WITH SPECIAL GUEST AND MISTRESS OF CEREMONIES, JOAN LUNDEN (with other guests to be announced) will appear with Michael at the 16th Annual Michael Bolton Charities Benefit Concert at the Rich Forum, followed by a Celebrity Golf Tournament at Stamford’s Rockrimmon Country Club. Proceeds to benefit The Michael Bolton Charities For Children and Women at Risk.

Michael Bolton and his band will headline his 16th Annual Charities Benefit Concert at Stamford’s Rich Forum on Sunday, September 21st. The Sponsor/VIP reception starts at 5:00 p.m. and the awards-concert begins at 7:00 p.m.

Music greats, Dave Mason and Ben E. King will perform that evening. Michael’s New Haven Choir from NBC’s “Clash of the Choirs” will make a special appearance.

THE BENEFIT CONCERT, LIVE AUCTION AND AWARDS evening will honor DORIS BUFFETT, Founder, Sunshine Lady Foundation.

VIP Tickets for Sunday night’s celebrity cocktail reception which includes priority seating is $350.00. Concert tickets are only $50.00.

The following day, Monday, September 22nd at 10:30 a.m. the two-time Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter will host his CELEBRITY GOLF CLASSIC at Rockrimmon Country Club in Stamford, Connecticut. Spots in the Celebrity Golf Classic are available at $700 but are extremely limited. To reserve a spot or for additional information call 203-483-6463.

Proceeds from both events will benefit The Michael Bolton Charities, Inc., which was established in 1993 to assist children and women at risk, by supporting such programs as: The Domestic Violence Hotline, Prevent Child Abuse America, Yale Child Study Center, The Louisiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence-Hurricane Katrina Fund, Kids in Crisis, The Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Family Justice Center of Brooklyn, UNCF, Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Kids in Crisis, Domestic Violence Services of Greater New Haven, and MENTOR-National Mentoring Partnership.

Greenwich resident, JOAN LUNDEN, who for almost two decades was the host of ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America,” is returning for her 16th year as Mistress of Ceremonies for the Benefit Concert. One of the most successful women in the media, Ms. Lunden is passionate about disseminating wellness information all across the country, and inspiring people to take charge of their health and happiness.
