Octane Records announces new artists

Octane Records is committed to working with artists, producers, and songwriters, as well as other independent record and production companies with the drive and talent to gain accomplishments within the music industry. More than a production company, Octane focuses on building long-term success for the artists and partners through education, career planning, and ultimately writing and recording great songs. With product on the streets, Octane takes on the business development role for the artist or partnering label to ensure that every possible opportunity is exploited and no rock is left unturned.

Heath Martin, aka REAL:
Born in the Pacific Northwest -started singing as soon as he could speak. He was raised with many different musical influences that crossed several genres including Gospel and R&B, which have carried into the music he creates today. Heath Martin's story is filled with tragedy. His mother was the victim of a violent crime and was murdered when he was very young, leaving him to grow up with a dark memory that would only be further clouded years later when he learned of the gruesome circumstances surrounding her death.

Aziel Toeaina:
Born January 1, 1978 in San Francisco, California, is a musical genius who can switch from his R&B delivery to Hip Hop and Rap, unlike many artists on the market today. Aziel's critics say he may be as good as Usher and Justin Timberlake. Aziel also plans on being a Grammy Nominee and a Grammy Winner in the very near future.

Jailbird:
Born Jeffrey Sayer in 1978 in Olympia, Washington, is destined to be a rap superstar; the kind of superstar that understands a good hook, strong songwriting and the importance of a great performance. Jailbird's critics say in the near future he may be as good as Eminem. Jailbird is a Rap Artist that plans on being a Grammy Nominee.

HUD:
Born Anthony Hudson in Memphis, Tennessee in April of 1971 is a Rap Artist who loves performing. HUD began entertaining in early '86 at talent shows. His mother, who fell upon hard times while HUD was young, was a former background singer for the likes of B. B. King and other popular Memphis recording artists and is credited for introducing HUD to the profession of music.

Mr. Rakafela:
Born Alvin E. Kirton III in Oakland, California in July of 1973, was highly influenced in the early 90s by the success of Tupac Shakur and Shock G from Digital Underground. Being deeply rooted in Tupac and Digital's cliques, Mr. Rakafela developed a Funk/ Hip Hop mix which he displays in his latest masterpiece "Tale of a New Legend," feat. Shock G, Humpty Hump, and Jailbird.
