Defeater to tour with All Teeth and Touche Amor

Defeater is excited to announce their first West coast tour since the release of Lost Ground this past November. Beginning the first week of February, Defeater will be on the road for two weeks, canvassing the West coast in its entirety. While sharing the road with All Teeth and Touche Amore, Defeater will be showcasing new songs off of their recently release Lost Ground EP which was hailed " a haunting, perfectly- executed concept album" (SputnikMusic).

Having only been unleashed on masses less than two months ago, Lost Ground has already received critical acclaim from the press landing itself on several Top Lists of '09 including PunkNews, Mammoth Press, and PastePunk.

This six song double 7" EP was written in a similar narrative style to Defeater's debut album, Travels, and follows a man's journey from enlisting in the military to post-war life (the same man that listeners were introduced to on track 6 of Travels: “Prophet in Plain Clothes”).

While their debut was called “a new artistic peak for hardcore” by Punknews and “the perfect definition of modern hardcore” by Lambgoat), Lost Ground has already surpassed the critical acclaim Defeater has received thus far.
