Our Valentine's themed quote from French Poet Marceline Desbordes-Valmore reminds us that it's time once again to play Cupid. Valentine's Day is just around the corner and our Best Used Book Sale offers the perfect place to select that special book for your Valentine...at the right price!
Mark your calendars for Friday, February 5th from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday, February 6th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm: The sale will be located at the Sierra Madre Public Library, 440 West Sierra Madre Blvd, Sierra Madre in the lower parking lot and the adjacent basement.
If your Valentine is a man, we have included a manly collection of coffee table books on History, Civil War, American Indians, and War. For the women Valentines, we offer more sensible and civilized selections including Cookbooks, Beauty and Fashion, Love Stories, and Feng Shui.
Other books of interest for sale are - Time Life Books - The Seafarers, Time Life Books - Human Behavior, History of Films and Film Making. Inside will be a new selection of DVD's, Videos and Books on Tape. New collection of Collectibles. Outside tables will be filled with a new selection of children's books, paperbacks (25 cents each or 5 for $1.00.) Hard back fiction and non fiction will be available at $1.00 each.
