Redemption coming to the Whiskey

Los Angeles prog metal outfit REDEMPTION will be performing two headlining shows in February 2010 in support of their recently-released fourth CD, Snowfall on Judgment Day, on Inside Out Music. The shows are listed below and tickets for both shows can be purchased now at www.enterthevault.com

February 4th, 2010 – Los Angeles, CA @ The Whiskey

February 5th, 2010 – Mesa, AZ @ UB’s

Multi-instrumentalist / songwriter Nick van Dyk commented on the headlining shows "We are very excited to get out and perform for our fans again, and look forward to the debut live performances of music from Snowfall on Judgment Day. These are most likely the only US headlining dates for us in 2010, so anybody who wants to see a longer set from us with more opportunity to perform from our catalog should join us if they can!"

REDEMPTION has announced that they are starting an official Street Team. If you would like to become a member of the REDEMPTION Street Team, please send an email to streetteam@intromental.com to sign up today. The first two Street Team members from both Los Angeles, CA and Mesa, AZ that sign up and help promote the shows (and can prove it) will receive a pair of tickets and a meet and greet for the REDEMPTION show in their city.

Snowfall on Judgment Day was released in October 2009 and has received rave critical reviews (from BWBK to Keyboard magazine and many in between) and has been featured on AOL NoiseCreep and Sirius-XM Satellite Radio, both firsts for REDEMPTION. It is the band's fastest selling CD to date.

Throughout spring 2009 the band finalized Snowfall On Judgment Day, which was mixed by well-known producer Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Jorn Lande, Hatesphere). The album features a more mature songwriting than ever before and shows the band taking several steps beyond the quality of their previous output, and standing out from the rest of the crowd in the progressive metal scene with their unique brand of heavy, melodic and emotionally powerful music. The legendary James Labrie (Dream Theater) also performs a duet guest vocal spot on the song “Another Day Dies.”

REDEMPTION has clearly delivered their best album to date – an album that will stand as a benchmark for progressive metal for years to come.
