On Wed, Jan 13, Patrick and I will be playing over in Burbank at Viva Fresh Restaurant. We played in December and had a great time. Join us if you can. It's at 900 Riverside Dr, Burbank, 91506 (right next to the L.A. Equestrian Center). We'll play from 8 til 11 and there's no cover.
The Screaming Earwigs (Steve Lewis, Tom, Patrick and Mike Sauber) are playing 2 dances next week. Friday, 1/15, we'll be the 3rd Friday Contra Dance at the War Memorial Hall in South Pasadena (435 Fair Oaks Ave, 91030), just north of the 110 Fwy. On Saturday the 16th, we'll be down the street at the South Pasadena Women's Club for another Contra Dance. 1424 Fremont Ave, South Pasadena, 91030. Instruction at 7:30, dance from 8:00 - 11:00. A special treat before this dance will be a FREE clogging and flatfoot dance workshop with traditional dancer extraordinaire, Ruth Alpert from 7:00 - 7:30.
