LUIS entertainment division* artist Liptease has announced details of its eagerly anticipated debut EP. EP – which includes the single, “Oh Ai” – will be released exclusively through iTunes on December 28th. The album is currently in post-production and will have its world premiere on March 2010.
The new Gloss-pop band is currently impacting the electro-pop scene in Paris and New York. In addition to Liptease’s official MySpace page, myspace.com/lipteaseme, their music can be heard at lipteaseme-ita.fr and downloaded at liptease.bandcamp.com
The first full-length release, “NeOPop” marks the arrival of an upbeat and innovative sound that has no boundaries. On tracks such as “Cupid”, « I like it » and “Oh Ai” the New York based band fuses Soul/R&B with the “French touch”, and propulsive rhythms creating a new electronic-pop wave.
Most notably, the band members are tremendous performers. John’s remarkable, personal voice, Tom’s energy and subtle rhythm percussion mixed with Michel’s expressive guitar and innovative production skills convey an audio-visual impacting live experience.
“NeOPop” visits multiple rhythms anchored in the popular subconscious.
Highlights on the album include– “Ooh Aai”, ”Dangerous” and “Cupid” – all recently featured on the WPIX (NYC).
