ASCAP I Create Music Expo April 19-21 in LA

ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) has added Jared Leto (Thirty Seconds to Mars), Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic), and legendary songwriter Jimmy Webb - member of ASCAP's Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Board for the Songwriters Hall of Fame - to the all star roster of featured panelists for the 7th annual ASCAP "I Create Music" Expo taking place April 19-21, 2012 at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, CA.



Ryan Tedder, front man of OneRepublic, has penned hits like Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love," Beyonce's "Halo" and Adele's "Rumour Has It", and legendary songwriter Jimmy Webb ("Wichita Lineman," "Macarthur Park"), who is on the ASCAP Board of Directors and serves as Chairman of the Board for the Songwriters Hall of Fame, join the impressive roster already announced, including: Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine of The Smeezingtons, Carly Simon, Peter Frampton, Jared Leto, Charlotte Caffey, Kathy Valentine and Jane Wiedlin from The Go-Go's, Desmond Child, Allen Shamblin, Mark Isham, Don Felder (Formerly of The Eagles), AndraƩ Crouch, Jonny Lang, George Duke, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Walter Afanasieff, D.A. Wallach, and dozens more.



The songwriters, composers and producers signing on for the EXPO are Monica (Recording Artist), Don Cannon (Producer), Priscilla Renea (Songwriter), Lindy Robbins (Songwriter), Kool Kojak ("Right Round"), Ryan Shore (Composer), Mick Boogie (DJ/Remixer), Lee Ritenour (Jazz Guitarist), Shea Taylor ("Best I Never Had"), and David Paich (Toto).



The addition of Leto, Tedder, and Webb - and the over 100 new names added to panels - has now brought the list of confirmed panelists to over 200 people.
