Amid much anticipation, Live Nation Entertainment today announces the final lineup and single day wristband information for the inaugural year of River’s Edge Music Festival. Single day wristbands will go on sale Friday, May 18 at 10 a.m. via RiversEdgeMusicFestival.com, Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com, and are $65 plus applicable service fees. For two days only, Friday, May 18 at 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 19 at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., wristbands can also be purchased with no service fees at the Xcel Energy Center box office.

With this announcement, music fans who want to see a particular artist now have the knowledge and the option to buy wristbands just for the day that artist is performing.
It would be a shame to miss out on either day, however, as River’s Edge Music Festival is shaping up to be an exciting and immersive experience unlike any other in the history of the Twin Cities. The Star Tribune called this first installment of the five-year agreement between Saint Paul and Live Nation “the most ambitious music festival on Harriet Island since Riverfest’s six-year run ended in 1990.” Tool’s Saturday night performance alone -- their only North American date this summer -- will offer the signature arresting visuals and searing audio quality that have made them legend, while Sunday headliners Dave Matthews Band are sure to deliver the upbeat virtuosity that has made them one of the best-loved touring bands in history.
“From start to finish, this is a festival for the fans,” said Mark Campana, Co-President, Live Nation. “We made sure that every act on this bill is known for delivering a great live show.”
In keeping with the natural beauty of the site, River’s Edge Music Festival will also offer a variety of sustainability efforts, including bicycle valet service, ride share coordination via Nice Ride Minnesota, an extensive on-site recycling program, shuttle service to Harriet Island, and water stations throughout the grounds. The festival will also offer an ECOmmunity, an area of the grounds where local nonprofits focusing on environmental and community causes will have a forum in which to educate and engage festival-goers.
One day wristbands for River’s Edge Music Festival are $65 plus applicable service fees. Wristbands go on sale Friday, May 18 at 10 a.m. via RiversEdgeMusicFestival.com, Ticketmaster.com, and LiveNation.com. Wristbands can also be purchased through May 19 at 8 p.m. only at the Xcel Energy Center box office with no service charge. Two day wristbands are still available for $110 plus applicable fees via RiversEdgeMusicFestival.com, Ticketmaster.com, and LiveNation.com.
