LAVA Sunday Salon returns to LA Feb. 24

Celebrate Downtown Los Angeles history with the return of LAVA's free Sunday
Salon

WHO: Presented by LAVA - The Los Angeles Visionaries Association.
 
WHAT: The LAVA Sunday Salon cultural series returns after a 15 month hiatus,
with a Downtown Los Angeles history program featuring CSULA Professor Mark
Wild's talk on the history of street speakers downtown, followed by a
virtual tour of 1946-era downtown illustrated by recently discovered Rita
Hayworth color b-roll footage by architectural historians Nathan Marsak and
Richard Schave.
 
WHEN: Sunday, February 24, 12pm-2pm followed by a free Broadway
architectural walking tour at 2:15pm. Salons fall on the last Sunday of the
month. March Salon is 3/31.
 
WHERE: Mezzanine level, Les Noces du Figaro restaurant, 618 S Broadway, Los
Angeles, CA, 90014.
 
COST: Free, no reservations required for Salon attendance. Reservations
