The charismatic Lyrics Born announced a western states tour that begins immediately after his appearance on April 18th on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” With two shows on April 22nd -- an in-store performance at the famed Berkeley Rasputin Music and a set at his record release party at the Icon Lounge in San Francisco -- the charismatic LB is celebrating his latest release, Everywhere At Once, in a big way. Following the U.S dates, Lyrics Born heads to Europe for two weeks of festival appearances before wrapping up the summer with a performance at the Outside Lands festival in San Francisco, alongside the likes of Radiohead, Beck and Wilco.
On Everywhere At Once, Lyrics Born forgoes the traditional drum machine and sampling avenues in favor of recording with the players that have made his live performances stuff of legend in the hip hop world. The result is a record filled with undeniable grooves: danceable pop, R n B flavored hip hop and retro funk.
