The Langham, Huntington Hotel & Spa, in partnership with the American Jazz Institute, is pleased to announce a series of jazz concerts featuring renowned musicians in an intimate setting. The hotel’s distinguished Lobby Lounge will be the location for the concerts, offering panoramic views of the Horseshoe Garden and San Marino, and accommodating just 70 guests to ensure a unique jazz experience for each guest. Cocktails and drinks will be served at the Lobby Lounge bar before each show and during intermission, giving guests an opportunity to interact with the featured musicians of the evening.
Grammy nominated composer, arranger and jazz pianist Bill Cunliffe will be the first to perform on Saturday, May 23 from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. As a composer and arranger, Mr. Cunliffe has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and two Grammy Awards, and has composed extensively for big band, chamber groups, choir and orchestral arrangements. Thank you Mickie! Any idea of whom might be booking this lovely series? I would like to pitch Memphis soul singer Susan Marshall. I think it would be such a perfect fit.
Cheers,
Annissa
