WHO: Grammy Award winning jazz trumpet player and Oscar nominated film composer
MARK ISHAM and his new band HOUSTON STREET.
Isham’s musical accomplishments have earned him Grammy, Emmy, Clio, and Academy Award nominations. In addition to his critically acclaimed jazz albums, he is known for his groundbreaking electronic music. He is also one of the most celebrated Hollywood film composers today, with credits on over 50 movies, including Crash, Bobby and A River Runs Through It. Isham recently released Bittersweet, a timeless collection of jazz standards, with ARIA Award winning Australian vocalist Kate Ceberano.
Isham will be joined on stage with his band Houston Street featuring Jeff Babko on keys, Tom Brechtlein on percussion and Doug Lunn on bass.
