Imagem Music announces the signing of a worldwide, multi-year co-publishing agreement with the international hit-making songwriter/producer Mark Ronson. In addition to his own artistry, Ronson has worked with renowned artists such Adele, Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse, Christina Aguilera, Rufus Wainwright, Duran Duran, Lily Allen, Robbie Williams and more.
Ronson first burst onto the scene as an artist with Here Comes the Fuzz, which included the collaborations of notable artists such as Jack White, Rivers Cuomo, Mos Def, Sean Paul and more. He went on to work with Amy Winehouse, co-writing her smash single "Back to Black," selling over 350,000 copies in the US. He also produced her hits "Rehab," "You Know I'm No Good" and more, helping to develop her unique sound. The album went on to sell over 2.6 million copies in the US alone and is the second best selling album of the 21st century in the UK with 12.6 million. With the album, he went on to win three Grammys - Producer of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. He has since collaborated with Christina Aguilera on her massive single "Hurt" and Back to Basics album; Duran Duran on their latest album, All You Need is Now; and he wrote and produced on UK pop sensation Lily Allen's debut album Alright, Still.
Although Ronson has spent a great deal of time creating hits for others, he has remained true to his artistry. In 2007 he released his second album, Version, which had him collaborating once again with Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen, as well as Robbie Williams, Santigold, Phantom Planet and more. The album sold over 800,000 in the UK. In 2010, he blew up the blogsphere with his single "Bang Bang Bang" with up-and-coming dance artist MNDR and Q-Tip. The single landed in the top ten of the UK charts, making it his fourth single to do so. It was the lead single off his latest album, Record Collection, which went to No. 2 in the UK.
Most recently, Ronson was tapped by Coca-Cola's promotional campaign for the 2012 Summer Olympics and teamed up with the UK's hottest new pop/dubstep act, Katy B, for their single "Anywhere in the World." The song was heard throughout the Olympic Games, further solidifying Ronson as an international artist.
"As soon as I walked into Imagem, I felt that it was where I wanted to be," said Ronson. "Kim [Frankiewicz] and Michael [Morley] are two people that I've respected for a long time and they get where I would like to go with my career as a writer and an artist--be it pop, soul, ballet or scoring."
"Being able to welcome Mark to the Imagem Music family is very rewarding. It shows that fantastic artists want to work with proactive companies that can truly focus on the creative process," commented Rich Stumpf, President of IMU. "It will be an absolute pleasure to work with Mark on achieving his creative vision."

"Mark Ronson is an absolute superstar in every meaning of the word. As an artist he perfectly complements the Imagem ethos - creativity, diversity and above all being a pioneer," said Kim Frankiewicz, Managing Director of Imagem UK. "Mark's work is seminal and genre busting - from his work with Amy Winehouse, to his solo material, with a ballet along the way. As the home of such an eclectic roster of artists and catalogues, from pop to classical, the Great American Songbook to the musicals, we look forward to giving Mark a blank canvas to support every aspect of his creativity."
