Looking for a unique setting for your holiday photo this year? How about sending greetings from Pasadena, with a family photo in the Vintage Trolley prop at Pasadena Museum of History?
Decorated for the season in festive greenery and ribbons, the standup prop was created by photographer Steve Crise, co-curator with Michael Patris of the exhibition Pacific Electric Railway, Then and Now. Bring your family and your camera to the Museum at your convenience -- the trolley is accessible seven days a week, from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 pm. at Pasadena Museum of History, 470 W. Walnut St., Pasadena 91103. Please note: We will be closed Thanksgiving Day, November 22.
While you are at PMH, treat yourselves to the current exhibits: Pacific Electric Railway, Then and Now and What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been: 35 Years of the Doo Dah Parade, open Wednesdays through Sundays, from Noon to 5:00 pm. The Museum Store is holiday-ready, too, full of great gift ideas as well as official Tournament of Roses merchandise.
Public tours of the elegant Fenyes Mansion resume on December 7 and will be offered every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 12:15 pm. In addition, PMH will welcome one and all to our free Holiday Open House on Sunday, December 2, from Noon to 5:00 pm.
