Ink’d Chronicles to hold Tribute to former Art Student
The art of former West Covina resident, Domonique Monaé Matlock, will be featured in an art show at Ink’d Chronicles in Pomona on Saturday, January 12, 6:00-9:00 pm. A 2011 graduate of the School of Arts and Enterprise high school, in Pomona, Domonique was studying art abroad. It is believed she contracted a parasite, while in India. She was only 19 when she passed away, last year.
Domonique’s mother, Regina, wanted to celebrate her life and art with an art show, in the Pomona Arts Colony. She approached Terry Dipple, owner of Ink’d Chronicles, who was moved by her story and quickly agreed to host the art show.
