BURNING CARS AND THE JAWS OF LIFE!
Pasadena firefighters will present live demonstrations of life-saving and fire-suppression techniques Saturday during Fire Service Day.
DATE AND TIME:
Saturday, May 9
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
PLACE:
Fire Station #33
515 N. Lake Ave. in Pasadena
WHAT YOU’LL SEE:
* Firefighters demonstrating how they suppress a car fire
* Firefighters demonstrating how they rescue victims who are in distress
* Firefighters demonstrating how they use the jaws of life to rescue victims from cars
A LITTLE MORE INFO:
There will also be a free barbecue with all the trimmings plus live entertainment. All Pasadena fire stations will conduct open houses on Saturday as well, although the demonstrations will take place only at #33.
