TV5MONDE USA’s music series Acoustic features new episodes filmed ‘live’ from the US beginning Saturday, May 9th. For the first time, host Sebastien Folin shot four new episodes of Acoustic, which features ‘live’ performances by established and emerging French-speaking musicians, from the Festival International in Lafayette last month. The first two episodes begin airing this weekend and include:
· Louisiana native Zachary Richard: Premieres Saturday May 9th at 12:30pm ET / 9:30am PT with an encore play on Sunday May 10th at 7:30pm ET / 4:30pm PT
· Quebec band Malajube: Premieres Saturday May 16th at 12:30pm ET / 9:30am PT with an encore play on Sunday May 17th at 7:30pm ET / 4:30pm PT
Future episodes include San Francisco musician Rupa and a mix of different artists from the festival. TV5MONDE USA is a 24-hour French language cable channel, part of the second largest network in the world after MTV.
