Enchanted Railroad Storytime, 11 a.m. Dec. 18, Descanso Gardens, 1418 Descanso Dr., La Cañada Flintridge. Enjoy imaginative, train-themed stories told by actor and storyteller Bill Ratner. Enjoy hot cocoa from 10:30 a.m. to noon (free while supplies last) at the train station, then take a ride on the Enchanted Railroad. Train tickets are $3 each. Meet, weather permitting, in the Center Circle. Storytelling is free with Gardens admission: $8 adults, $6 seniors/students, $3 children 5-12 and free to children 4 and younger. About Descanso GardensEstablished as a public garden in 1954, Descanso Gardens is located at 1418 Descanso Drive, La Cañada Flintridge, near the interchange of the 2 and 210 freeways. The Gardens are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Christmas Day. Parking is free.
