The new CD includes 11 songs from a variety of cool artists (Dan Zanes, Angelique Kidjo, Asheba, Frances England, Father Goose, etc.), ending with "Around the World" by the Pihcintu Multinational Childr en's Chorus. This chorus (based in Portland, Maine) features girls and young women from refugee families and war-torn nations. Founder Con Fullam tells me that two of the new members are from Afghanistan.
