*MISS MAY I announced their upcoming headlining position on ALTERNATIVE PRESS MAGAZINE’S annual fall tour, THE AP TOUR FALL 2012, sponsored by PETERSAYSDENIM. The tour, featuring a line-up handpicked by the AP staff, will be heading out on a 32-day trek that kicks off mid-October till the end of November.
*Churning out over 450 performances since 2009, the band is regarded as one of the hardest working young bands in the metal genre.
*The band—Benton, guitarists Justin Aufdemkampe and B. J. Stead, bassist Ryan Neff and drummer Jerod Boyd—have been playing it lean and mean since their inception in Troy, Ohio, four years ago. Since aligning themselves with respected underground label Rise Records for their 2009 debut, Apologies Are For The Week and 2010's head-swiveling Monument, MMI have always approached their creative process with light-speed.
*MISS MAY I’s most recent album, At Heart (produced by famed Machine (Lamb of God, Everytime I Die, Suicide Silence), was released on June 12, 2012 with Rise Records and reached #32 on the Billboard Top 200 it its first week.
