An autumn tradition, the Japanese Garden Festival returns to Descanso Gardens on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 3-4. The weekend celebrates Japanese arts, crafts and culture with activities for the whole family. Activities are free with admission, unless noted.
Ikebana Display

Ikebana, the art of flower arranging, is perhaps the most famed and actively practiced of Japan's traditional arts. The Sogetsu School of Ikebana promotes a contemporary and international understanding of this art form, and meditations on plant life are reflected in these arrangements on display for your inspiration.
