Life-Fish to screen in Pasadena Nov. 3

Life-Fish: Swimming in Schools, a high-definition documentary, will be presented on Saturday, November 3, at 2 p.m. in Caltech’s Beckman Auditorium. This program is part of Caltech’s Science Saturdays series.

This program features our favorite finned friends of the water - fish. From panoramic displays of peaceful coexistence to up-close encounters of territorial confrontation, there are spectacles that happen daily in our oceans.

This high-definition movie will serve as the springboard for a lively discussion about the science behind the beauty and wonder of nature. Enoch Yeung, a graduate student in engineering and applied science at Caltech, will introduce the film and guide the post-screening discussion.

Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Tickets to this performance are priced at $5.00 (unreserved seating).  Tickets can be purchased at the Caltech Ticket Office, 332 South Michigan Avenue, Pasadena.

Beckman Auditorium is located on Michigan Avenue, south of Del Mar Boulevard, in  Pasadena.  For information, call the Caltech Ticket Office at (626) 395-4652.
