Los Angeles Times food critic Jonathan Gold and California Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera have joined the list of notable guests who will be celebrating Red Hen’s 18th Anniversary Luncheon on November 11th, 2012 at the Westin Hotel in Pasadena. The event will highlight Red Hen’s deep roots in literary communities both local and national with the help of renowned authors and speakers Dana Gioia, Jane Smiley, and Kay Ryan. The event will also feature remarks from Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard, Managing Editor Kate Gale, performances from local school children, a silent auction and raffle, and the unveiling of Red Hen’s new fall releases.
Mr. Gold and Mr. Herrera will join other special guests Ron Carlson, Wanda Coleman, Katharine Coles, Janet Fitch, Cynthia Hogue, Douglas Kearney, David Kipen, David Mason, Patt Morrison, Alice Quinn, John Rechy, Nina Revoyr, Mark Sarvas, Peggy Shumaker, Matthew Specktor, and Charles Harper Webb at the luncheon.
