The band will set out on a run of dates to coincide with the recent release of their new track "Common Sentiments." The song is out now on a limited edition 7" and is off their forthcoming LP White Lighter. The new album was produced and engineered by the band and features their signature sound of horns, strings and group vocal crescendos.
In 2011, Typhoon caught the attention of many with their EP A New Kind Of House which Entertainment Weekly, Paste Magazine, Absolute Punk andNPR, among others, simply called “absolutely stunning.” Along with a notable TV debut on The Late Show with David Letterman, Typhoon spent most of 2011 on the road sharing the stage with The Decemberists and performing at festivals such as Lollapalooza and the Newport Folk Festival.
