Size two 20-somethings need not apply! More magazine and Wilhelmina Models are set to host the eighth-annual More/Wilhelmina 40+ Model Search to find women who are beautiful, accomplished and confident. Women 40 years of age and older are eligible to participate. The contest runs from August 15, 2007 – November 15, 2007.
Ten finalists will receive an expense-paid trip to New York City to participate in the finals events on February 20, 2008. The top three winners will be decided by a panel of More editors, Wilhelmina agents and other industry experts. The winners and finalists will share a total prize package valued at more than $87,000 including Wilhelmina modeling contracts, a fashion spread in an upcoming issue of More, and other prizes from presenting sponsor, Talbots, and the official product sponsors, Garnier Nutrisse and Baume & Mercier.

Last year’s top three winners Patricia Neville (50), a former sales manager from Miami, FL, Paula O’Connor (42) an oncologist from San Francisco, CA, and optometrist Steffi Jo Chapin (43) of Terra Ceia, FL, who received Wilhelmina contracts and have since appeared in the pages of More, as well as in advertisements for Cold Water Creek and Avon, among others. Over 16,000 entries from across the country were received during last year’s competition.
