The Recording Academy®announces the new season debut of GRAMMY Label™, a luxury basics collection that celebrates the power of fashion and music. Each season GRAMMY Label, by appointment of The Recording Academy, donates a new set of instruments to GRAMMY Camp, which brings aspiring young music students together with working professionals for extraordinary musical experiences. GRAMMY Label will be available at specialty boutiques nationwide February 2013.
“Together with The Recording Academy, our vision was to develop a collection that was in line with the creative process of making music,” said GRAMMY Label Creative Director, Caroline Rothwell. “This is not a promotional line. This is a style that is truly inspired by musicians.”
“In launching GRAMMY Label, The Academy can expand our philanthropic efforts by marrying music with fashion, and we can do so by delivering a line that encompasses all types of music for every fan universally,” said Evan Greene, Chief Marketing Officer of The Recording Academy.
