MatheMagic! starring Bradley Fields will be presented on Friday, March 1, at 7 p.m. in Caltech’s Beckman Auditorium.
MatheMagic! promotes math skills and problem-solving through visuals, history, language and entertainment. The audience travels back to ancient times to meet Imhotep the Magician, (whose secret was really math), Zeno (whose paradoxes inspired Newton) and, of course, Pythagoras and his famous theorem. By integrating math concepts with vocabulary, geography, history and everyday problem-solving, audience members of different interests, abilities and learning styles are able relate to math in new ways.
Tickets to this performance are priced at $15.00; $10.00 Youth. Tickets can be purchased at the Caltech Ticket Office, 332 S. Michigan Avenue, Pasadena.
Parking for Beckman Auditorium is located at 332 South Michigan Avenue, Pasadena (south of Del Mar Boulevard). For information, call (626) 395-4652.
