The public is invited to bring chairs, blankets and a picnic to the spacious lawns of the Fenyes Mansion for a concert from 4:00 to 7:00 pm featuring Snotty Scotty and the Hankies, Horses on Astroturf and other Doo Dah Parade musical favorites. Snotty Scotty has been one of Pasadena's most enduring and beloved bands over the last 40 years and has participated in every Doo Dah Parade since its inception in 1978. In fact, many years ago they were dubbed the "Official Band of the Doo Dah Parade."
This concert is presented in conjunction with the current exhibition, What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been: 35 Years of the Pasadena Doo Dah Parade. Also featured in the PMH History Center Galleries is, Pacific Electric Railway, Then & Now. The Galleries will be open on September 23 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Come early and enjoy the exhibits before the concert - Gallery admission is $7 General; $6 Students & Seniors; PMH Members & Children under 12 Free; Active Duty Military Personnel & their families Free.
